Vendor Managed Inventory (VMI)

VMI is a streamlined approach to inventory management and order fulfilment, which involves a collaboration between suppliers and customers. It is a business model where the buyer lets the vendor take full responsibility for maintaining an agreed inventory of the material, usually at the buyer’s consumption location.
